About Us

Women's Treatment Facility

The Well provides substance abuse treatment services designed to stop the destructive lifestyle of substance abuse while in a safe a therapeutically conducive environment. This location is for women only, while our Eagles Nest program is for men. Our Goal is to educate, motivate, and assist our female clients to develop healthy, permanent, and recovery-centered lifestyle changes.

There are several main components to a successful regeneration process. We believe that God is the key to making changes in the lives of women. We are simply assisting with the process. We offer Biblical instruction, counseling, and small groups.

After that, they will go through occupational training to learn practical skills that can be used after graduation. This program helps launch you into your new, healthy future.

Michelle

Clinical Director

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2010. In 2015 I was hired as the clinical director at Mt. Regis, which is an inpatient substance abuse rehabilitation center. It was there I went through a steep learning curve on addiction treatment and fell in love with it. I also worked with Robbie and Eagles Nest Regeneration providing licensure supervision for their mens program and loved their vision for faith-based recovery with clinical excellence. Just over a year ago, Robbie told me whenever I was ready to work for them full time, they were ready to start a women’s program, so we started getting the team and pieces in place to begin The Well. Since then, God has brought the pieces together and directed the timing. On May 3rd, 2023, we accepted our first two women into the program. The learning curve continues and the love continues to grow as we are watching women’s lives and families being transformed before our eyes. I’m very grateful to be part of Eagles Nest and The Well!

Tammy

My name is Tammy Henderson, Program Coordinator at The Well.  My husband, Ed and I have been working together in the recovery community for 5 years. I have always loved the New Testament stories of how Jesus loved “society’s rejects” without any hesitation or conditions. That love is what changed my life and was what I wanted to share with other. So I was overjoyed when Eagles Nest Regeneration asked me to join their  team for the new women’s program, The Well. I was beyond excited to be a part of a program that was creating  a space just as Jacob did, where a lost and rejected woman could come for water and find a Love that would change her life forever! I am so excited about what God is doing in our midst here at The Well and I know the best is yet to come!! The Well- she came for water but He came for her!!

Linda

Assistant Clinical Supervisor

Hi, I’m Linda! I’m the Assistant Clinical Director of The Well. I was in active addiction for 27 years, and my sobriety date is October 12, 1998. My soul was so eroded from addiction that I cried out to God to save me. I met Shelly (Clinical Director) at another residential rehab and was asked to help part time at the Eagles Nest as a group facilitator. We eventually talked about opening a women’s program, and I felt led by the Holy Spirit to be a part of this miracle.

Nikki

My name is Nikki Zirkle, and I grew up in the small town of Big Stone Gap, VA. I was in addiction for 28 years before I began getting into legal trouble that led me to complete a faith-based program in Tennessee. During the time I was in my program, my husband completed the program at Eagles Nest Regeneration. I stayed on and worked three months as an intern at my program. My husband came back to Eagles Nest and my my probation officer informed that my probation transfer to Tennessee was denied. Later that same day, I found out The Well was opening the next day and I was here on opening day as the first SLT. Everything about my move was so easy and came straight from God. I feel called to help other women in recovery. But the love and grace that this ministry shows people is what makes me want to stay here as long as the Lord, ENR, and The Well will keep me here. This place shows the true heart of God—love & grace.
